So today I had my first job interview! It was sooooo nerve-wracking. But the good news is that I got the job! And it's my first job! I am very excited about it. I work as a hostess at the Lone Star Steakhouse on Airport Rd. I was really nervous about the interview and had to keep telling myself to breathe normally and was praying constantly. During the interview he just asked me about my life and why I have not had to get a job up until this point etc. He seemed concerned that I had never had a job before but seemed to like that my schedule was very open. He seemed like a nice guy, but a little skeptical on giving me the job.... but at the end of the interview, he said that he thought the interview went well and would like to give me a job! I could not believe it!
This was another 1st in my life and overall I liked it!

Random Thoughts
-So lately, napping has been a must-have in my life.
-Jordan and I have been dating for 8 months today :)
-School has been stressful already. I have a lot of homework but I guess that is what I expected.
-I never finished the 30 journal entries I had to do so I'm still working on those... seriously, journaling is NOT my thing.
-I went and applied at Lone Star Steakhouse today...and I have an interview on Monday!!! I am so nervous... I don't even know if I can handle school, friends, a boyfriend, and a job... but I guess we will see.
-I took my car to get it inspected... let's just say that was an experience.
-I'm so glad I am back in town so I can babysit again! I've definitely missed all my little ones!
-So... my Senior Intergration Project (SIP) is going to be awful. It's a 9-11 page paper about some dabatable topic. Therefore, Jordan, Kelsey and I are all going to the UNCA library tomorrow after church...that should be...fun.
-I'm very sad the Brooks' are moving to Phoenix! I don't know what I'm going to do without them and little Miss Natalie! She always keeps me smiling.
-I babysat for a girl named Lily tonight who is a girl after my own heart... as a 4 year old she looked up at me and stated "I can't WAIT to be a mommy!"
-I took my senior pictures today... and I really hope they turn out ok! It was kind of weird though because I'm still in shock that I'm a senior. Although, I almost wish I was a senior in college... I wonder if I am ever going to stop wanting to get older.
-It was so nice to see everyone at school these past two days even though school is... well school. I hadn't seen many of my friends this summer because I have been traveling so much so it was good to see everyone's faces.
-My mom and I are on this diet thing called Isagenix...and let's just say I suck at diets. But so far, so good.
-I am going to the lake with Jordan and his family on Labor Day weekend.....talk about stress. But I am even more excited then stressed and I think it should be a lot of fun. I mean, 4 days with my boyfriend in Charlotte with HIS family instead of mine...what could go wrong?
-I'm very sore from running... that is probably not a good thing. I need to do it more often.
Hmmm... that's my life for the moment. It's very crazy. And I have no plans for it to slow down... So, hopefully I don't die of stress. I guess we shall see.

Procrastination...
So... here is my To-Do list before the end of next week:
~Get home from Houston on the 19th
~Get a hair cut
~Take senior pictures
~Babysit (i'm actually happy about this one because its stress RELIEVING instead of SRESSFUL)
~Finish AP English stuff (journals, reading, essays etc.) . . . GAG.
~Hang out with Jordan :)
~ Get school supplies...and put notebooks together
~Have annual spend-the-night with Kelsey the night before school starts
~Watch Steel Magnolias
Now, the chances of me getting this all done....mmm 60%?
I really have to work on procrastinating this year. If I don't, I am going to be doomed in college.
Oh. That reminds me... college applications. I should probably start those soon. Bummer.

Traveling... Oh So Much
So, I'm in Houston now. I seriously think I have spent more time OUT of North Carolina then IN North Carolina this summer. Although, most of my trips I have enjoyed. Kansas was the exception. Oh well. I never liked family vacations anyways. So... no suprises there.
Texas. I always forget how much I like it, until I come back. Houston, Dallas. It doesn't even matter. Tori and Nicki (my two little sisters in Houston) have grown so much. Time really does fly.
School starts on the 21st. That's awful! I really have to work on my AP English stuff. The first day of school is gonna be here before I know it.

Dele-WHERE?
So. I am leaving for deleware in the morning. EARLY in the morning. My youth group is going up there for a mission project and there are over 120 of us going! I am not sure what to expect...I mean seriously, when I decided I was going to go, I had to go look at a map to see exactly where deleware was. That is SAD I know but it's just such a forgotten place. And apparently this is the biggest mission project the state of deleware has ever had! That is crazy to me. I've never been up north though so it should be interesting... Maybe I'll get out of my comfort zone a little. Well, I must go pack seeing as how I am leaving at 7:45am and I haven't even started. Ya know, one day this procrastinator thing has really got to go.
Me and my friend Greta had fun in Target tonight if you can't tell :)

Time. Where Are You Going?
Hello Blog.
Maybe I will find you a little more interesting then journaling.
My youngest sister turns nine tomorrow! I can't believe it. Maybe I am growing up faster then I think. Or maybe they are just growing and I feel I am just staying the exact same. Who knows?
